Just one day…blew my mind. At first, I didn’t think I was going to like it, but about 10 pages in I was hooked. I loved this story and I can’t wait to get my hands on the second one. I absolutely love the Shakespeare references. I fell in love with the characters and enjoyed the love part of the story. Near the end of the first half I ended up being disappointed in Willem. As the story went on, there were a lot of twists and turns that keep you wondering. Talk about a cliffhanger! I was not expecting that at all, and now I’m left curious…
He showed me how to get lost, and then I showed myself how to get found.
After reading Just One Day, I couldn’t wait to get my hands on the second of the series. I was left with a massive cliffhanger. Once I got Just One Year in my hands, I was slightly disappointed. I expected it to pick up off where it left me at the cliffhanger, but it didn’t. In a way, I do like how Gayle wrote his version of the year. It was slow moving, but It was enjoyable.
